Photographer’s Note
This was taken from the side. The idea was to capture the whole lake using the stitch function. But that did not go as planned. But what i feel is that strangely the blues seen in the water here, are stronger than the skies. One can also see a glacier which gives birth to the chandra river, in the background.

Great lanscape with crisp weather and clean air. Blue and white make a good colour combination.
I would crop a little from the top. Not that where would be something too much, I'm just not so keen on the almost square format.

Fantastic shot Arvind! You got an amazing landscape here. Good colours and lighting. The reflexes on the lake are very nice as well as the whitness around it. Well done!
Thank for sharing,
All the best,

Hi Arvind
Very nice shot. I like the reflections on the blue lake. Is it snow on the foreground ?
Cheers

Very beautiful how the clouds merge with the snow and mountains, and reflect in the lake. Great shot.

I'm surprised there isn't more snow on the opposite slope - I guess it's because the chandra tal side is north facing and therefore gets less of the sun. Lovely photo - well worth the effort of climbing the hillside to get it. One fault in your note though: the water from the galcier in this picture is but a tributary to the Chandra river which, in fact, starts not far from the top of the Baralacha La.

Hi Arvind
Wow! I like the superb reflections of the snowcapped peaks & blue sky in the lake. Wonderful graphism, accentuated by the snow. Good work!

hi Arvind
an awesome POV... I suppose you had to climb someway up for this... the glacier that you see is the Samudratapu glacier and the peak behind it is Mulkila peak, the highest in the region... thanks for sharing this one...

Amazing shot! The flurry of light snow around the lake in juxtaposition to the barren hills behind lends a unique charm to this beautiful picture.

I got chill in spine Arvind.I was there in last week of September. There was no clue of Snow at that time, except for snow capped Peaks of Deo Tibba. Weather turned rough while our return from Kaza. I was only one driving whole day( Fierro, Kaza-Manali ), got hypothermea at Rohtang top.
Now I can imgaine what Chandratal could have looked like while I was struggling hard to drive against the wind and snow at Kunzum pass, completely forgetting the moon Lake.
Nature!! It tells you what!!
