Photographer’s Note
Tibetan Buddhists hold that merit can be gained by hanging prayer flags out in the open air. The sacred words printed on the flags can then be taken by the wind and delivered to the four corners of the earth.
The Baralacha La, at the junction of three mountain ranges is almost permanently assailed from all sides by gusts of wind. It is a perfect place for prayer flags.

There's so much windy expression here Rich, and you could even hear the fluttering of these flags. Even though there's colors in this photo, but the harshness of the land doesn't make it beautiful. But then again, hope and wishes, is the colors of the mind, don't you think.
