Photographer’s Note
Well... we had to stop just a little before Baralachala Pass for the convoy to pass. In my entire trip to Leh, from Srinagar onwards, we got stuck in every possible convoy. It's quite a pain if you're not familiar with the convoy timings.
Well, we had to wait here for about 10 minutes (our driver refused to wait longer than that) and were asked to eat, drink and do whatever we had to within that time.
There are loads of little shacks just before the pass and this is a picture from one of them. I had a plate full of nice and hot daal and rice in one hand, the camera in the other and dumped the rest of the stuff I'd bought (biscuits, coke, chocolates) in my friends hand and clicked this.
In the far right, you can see part of the convoy, though they look like little ants and the where the mountains meet in the picture, starts the pass. It was beautiful but nippy here and except for the shacks, there was no habitation at all-not even bushes or flowers.
P.s I think its in Himachal.... shall ask 'ttmountainman' and correct it in the title if its not!
Tech: bordered the picture. no corrections..i always goof up!

Good depth in this view with the perspective focusing towards the valley in the background center, and good inclusion of the colorful man-made foreground elements. A unique scenery, Smrithi, thanks for showing it to us.

So far from our daily-life city scenes and situations. I like your composition here, the opposition between the coloured foreground and the almost monochromatic background is very nice. Good crop too, thanks for sharing Smrithi!

Hi Smrithi
nice POV, quality not so good but nevertheless nice.
**Location Note: You have this under BARALACHALA PASS. It is not spelled this way, it is spelled Baralacha. Please change the location of this and put it under "Baralacha La", as then we can make the locations of TE more organized and correct.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Rahul
