Looks like a pretty ordinary shot...????

B'ful evening, a monkey quietly sitting over a lifeless tree, sun showing its last orange sparks before finally settling down for the day, but everything is not as it seems from a distance...

This monkey was one unfortunate child.., abandoned by its group. Every time it tried to mix-up with the group, it was mercilessly rejected and thrown away. Perhaps, it was the will of group's alpha male. Following the group with a distance, it kept trying and trying, but every attempt was turned down firmly. Finally, dejected and torn, it settled on a tree...

I still wonder about the fate of this poor soul. Did they let it in, did it survive or lost the battle of life? Who knows now...

The strong bold silhouette of the monkey on tree is good. And the fact that you took this one through a cage or wired boundary along with your note gives a unusual angle to your photo. (I am surprised and happy that you had enough time and patience to observe all the monkey business) otherwise people just come click and go.

I donno if its ordinary but it sure is pretty darpan! I like the burning and vibrant hues and like the way you have got the silhouette. great work indeed.
