In old time, wells being dug to procure water necessity of cities and villages. Though this practice is eloped in cities, it is still continue in villages and rural areas.
In this pic, the well is dug in just on the road for passerbyes, passengers and especially for farmers who got precious water while working in the field especially in the summer when the temperature spurt upto 45 degree C.
Hope you enjoy it.

hello, a nice composition here from those rural part of north India. Nicely composed with that well in foreground. I think winter is not permanently good from this place, as the place is so empty. Like the background haze made by fog. Thanks.

A fantastic shot from rural India. Like the minimal and abstract approach to this shot. Like the contrast between the green fields and the cemented well. The barren trees standing out from the mist provides for a fine BG. Good job done, thanks for sharing.
P.s. Good to hear that you like the mountains too, they are so majestic in our country that you cannot help but like them :)

A fine shot showing us a simpler way of life and the local flavour, you've certainly captured the tranquility of the place far from the madding crowd. I like the exaggerated angles, the tension, the immediacy, the detail, textures and colours all so beautifully captured in the overcast lighting. The misty bg lends the depth and mood. Good lens work, Congrats
