Photographer's Note
This cow asked me to take his picture so I did. After a while, cows & livestock wandering around in an urban environment of over 13 million people seems normal.
This is in Karol Bagh, New Delhi. People throw their trash on the ground in Delhi which at first seems awfully uncivilized. But, as you can see in the background here, it is eventually picked up.

Recycling from another perspective.I suppose even the cow pies are recovered as well:-)I have often wondered who feeds these wandering sacred cows Mike?...do they have owners or are many of them just city citizens with special privileges?

I like an almost slanting composition here, starting from the cart in the foreground, then the cow, the rubbish picker, the boy and the man on the bicycle. Thanks to this pattern as well as a good DOF, the picture is full of interesting detail without giving the impression of being cluttered. A good addition is the notice board in Hindi. Overall, a nice documentary shot!
