oppps, she escapes!
a funny combination in Moti bagh..
(the guy in the middle who stares at me in a horrid way is a good friend actually..his kids were bugging him at that second, LOL! the lady wasnt sure of me though.. In India, when hindu ladies see a foreign man, they usually cover their heads with their veils..)

As usual fantastic stuff :). Love the tone of this snap.
In India, when hindu ladies see a foreign man, they usually cover their heads with their veils(I think this exists in very few places.)
Its normally done as mark of respect for elders in the family.

I felt also embarassed to take photo of woman there (that's why most of my photo are taken w/o any faces). I can only appreciate this one better with this furtive lady from which we can guess the embarassment. Nice composed with the faces in the diagonales leading us to this lady. The focus on the middle man is incredibly sharpped, funny face of the man with glasses ;o).

It's good that captured the women leaving the scene. The softness of her suggests motion which is a good thing. Also the old man on the right gives the photo a bit of a pop as well! Not sure if you've noticed but the three heads have almost created a diagonal line cutting through the photo!

An excellent cadrage, dear Evren, with superb focus and a really decisive moment! The guy doesn't look at you in a horrid way, it is just his face, I think, but an intriguing one that I like; the woman just exiting your vertical frame is a delicious touch and adds meaning to this all. Who really makes me smile, though, is the little guy on the right. He is so cute! And of course, this pitch black ground is making your shot stand out from far and wide.

...a nice line - she made the image for you - perhaps secretly she's a Moti bagh situational model !!! :-)) fantastic classic Dutch master light - the whites hold reasonably well - the moment and movement is superb!
best wishes from sunny Vancouver! I'm here photographing an event (and the city again) - full on work though - long long days!!
take care bw KEv

What a candid picture of the grumpy man in the middle, Evren!
You went for the kill without giving the subjects time to recompose themselves.
Your pictures never stop to amaze me for their uniqueness.

Evren, I like the diagonal line splitting your image into 2 parts, each playing a major role in your compo. The 3 different captured expressions are just incredible, especially this fantastic stare -not horrid to me, but rather straightforward!-. The grace of the escaping lady and the colors of her sari are the backbone of it all, like firing the soul of India throughout. The tones are a bliss to the eye: all tones, ie. those on clothes of course bu also skins' and background. A fabulous shot!!! --amz
