Captured this Baba Ė The Holy Man when he came to my street. He was begging some money or food. I gave him a cup of tea but I didít give him any money. Since in my opinion he is capable to earn himself.
Upon my enquiry how he become a Baba, he told that he was being offered by his mother & father to a Math (a group of Babas) who gave them blessing since the parents of this Baba was having No child. He was born as a first child to them that is why his parents handed over him to the Math. Later on the parents gave birth to another child also. He has no regular contact with his parents.

Your description of the context is fascinating.
This portrait is very strong: you do a fine job of managing the colours in the man's clothes, and the well-chosen DOF pulls all of our attention to his face and his hands. A great result!

Hello Joginder - Your note made fascinating reading and speaks of a cultural practice very far removed from my experience. I suppose that the Baba has known no other way of life and for him it is nothing strange. To an outsider like me, I find the story quite poignant and wonder how the parents felt when they had to hand over their firstborn son.
There is an attractive softness to this shot which suits the context very well.
Warm regards Rosemary

Dobar tekst, lep pogled na svetog coveka ...
Dobar snimak, ostrina i kontrast, lepo pokazan covek u narodnoj nosnji, lepe boje.
Covek ide svojim putem ...
Sve najbolje za vikend, srecno.
Good lyrics, nice view of the holy man ...
Good shot, sharpness and contrast, nice man shown in folk costumes, beautiful colors.
A man goes his own way ...
All the best for the weekend, good luck.

Street people as always is my fav subject, A great image could have more character if you were to reduce the exposure slightly, so more of the character, colors, details and good fuzzy bg to isolate him. Exposure is a 'black art' I always try to underexpose my shots as this gives me more scope when editing and often I also get more that one image out of a shot. With RAW - i always shoot Raw - you are able to extract a great deal of detail during pp as compared to Jpeg. A suggestion when you are looking at your pics, imagine them printed and framed. This will give you a then 'I need to rethink different perspective about lighting and matting the content' I ask my self a question which each pic, "Would I hang this on my wall, office or in the studio?" If I can't answer yes then I need to rethink about the shot. Hope this helps, sorry a lot of tech, but a nice attempt, Well done
