For this last series of pictures from Delhi, I offer you some taken in the Qutb complex, which lies close to the Temple of Chhatrapur but is much older.
The Qutb complex, also spelled Qutab or Qutub, is an array of monuments and buildings at Mehrauli in Delhi, India. The construction of Qutb Minar was intended as a Victory Tower, to celebrate the victory of Mohammed Ghori over Rajput king, Prithviraj Chauhan, in 1192 AD, by his then viceroy, Qutbuddin Aibak, who later became the first Sultan of Delhi of Mamluk dynasty. After the death of the commissioner, the Minar was added upon by his successor Iltutmish (also known as Altamash).
The complex was added to by many subsequent rulers, including Firoz Shah Tughlaq and Ala ud din Khilji as well as the British. Constructions in the complex include the Qutb Minar, the Quwwat ul-Islam Mosque, the Alai Gate, the Alai Minar, the Iron pillar, and the tombs of Iltutmish, Alauddin Khilji and Imam Zamin; surrounded by Jain temple ruins.
Today, the adjoining area spread over with a host of old monuments, including Balban's tomb, has been developed by Archeological Survey of India (ASI) as the Mehrauli Archeological Park, and INTACH has restored some 40 monuments in the Park. It is also the venue of the annual 'Qutub Festival', held in November–December, where artists, musicians and dancers perform over three days. The Qutb Minar complex was India's most visited monument in 2006, well ahead of the Taj Mahal.

Bonjour, cher Stephen,
Ah ! voyager, découvrir le monde, et admirer des lieux insolites emplis d'histoire.
Très belle architecture mélangeant savamment ombre et lumière.

Good Morning Stephen,
Yes, the materials and the construction suggest something much older.
Your composition is lovely, with the wall leading from the corner, towards the further ruins. The details are sharply collected with excellent textures and lovely dappled patterns.
The tall tower is mystical, shrouded by the tree and with a much paler hue.
Have a lovely Sunday,

Le lieu et le monument sont intéressants. J'aime la façon dont tu as mêlé l'architecture et les feuillages. La lumière est agréable sur les murs. Les couleurs et la netteté sont excellentes. Bravo.

A lovely shot of this muslim architecture captured with sharpness, colors and lighting. I like the trees around creating a nice atmosphere. The stone walls are built for strength. I have visited this one 40 years ago.

Très bien capturé avec la perspective minaret semble faire partie de l'immeuble au premier plan. Les arbres sont de composition très agréable.
L'éclairage difficiles, mais bien contrôlée. Les détails et les couleurs optimale.

The monument is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the monument. The light is giving a goos contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.
