[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The main shrine in the Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir is of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Holy Jain Monk that you will find in the devotional area of the temple on the first floor.

In the mean that I was taking this photo, my guide RP Jain had a discussion with a devotee opposing against the idea that this intimate devotional place would become profane. RP explained him that it fitted in the spirit of the Jain community who gave the authorization to disseminate the unique non-Hindu religion of Jainisme to the world.

Hi Henk,

I like this POV embracing both the temple and the devoted lady.
One of the most appreciated aspects of my Indian trip was the spirituality and devotion you could perceive almost everywhere.
this is an excellent exemple of it!
