Indian weddings are never complete without food -- lots of food, and these 'tandoors' are a type of Indian ovens used to bake Indian bread. They had been just lit up when i snapped them. Gradually the flames will die and only the glow embers will remain. The 'roti' or the bread will then be slapped on the inner sides of the oven for baking. It takes a few minutes for them to be baked, and then they are picked out by skilled chefs using metal pincers and served to guests.
