Photographer’s Note

Here is the second image of the shani man...

the first i had clicked was my first post on Trekearth..... i had gone to pick up a lot of sarees with a friend who had organised a commercial shoot... the courier people let the baggage at a tea stall in sector 22.. and we were surprised (schoked rather)... that the courier had arrived at a tea stall under a tree...

while my friend was counting the sarees i spot this guy collecting money on account of "shani God" the god for saturday.. People in india really have a fear for shani...

Well i must thank this guy to give birth to me on Trekearth...

What a great portrait ! His smile seems so kindly. Contrast and sharpness are perfect, it's well done.
I would just have cropped a little more on the turban to remove the few hairs and to make him closer. But anyway, it's a nice composition.

Hi Kapil,
Offlate you have posted some good portraits of "Sadhu's".This one looks good, but could have been better given your proven skill and potential.I think the crop is bit too strong at the top as well as at the left part, which is giving an impression that this is somehow and somewhere cut and has ended abruptly.Too tight composition, would love to see some vacant spaces here.Totally my opinion though.Anyway, the smile, the posture and the fine textures in the face is looking great.

Opposite light but great shot for me. Pastel colors clothes and his face dark color very well contrast.
