Mata Jayanti Devi's temple is located in the vicinity (~ 5 km west of Panjab University Chandigarh)of the city of Chandigarh. Chandigarh is a nearly 1-million people city which is located in the Northern part of India, being very close to the Lesser Himalayas the city of Chandigarh enjoys four seasons in a year.

In this picture, the white building located on a hill in the distant part of this picture is the temple of Mata Jayanti Devi. Behind the temple are the hills which belong to the Lesser Himalayan range. It was very warm on the day I took this picture. Well, it can be seen that front part of picture contains ready-to-harvest crop of wheat which is generally riped until mid of April.
