Photographer’s Note
Life is trnasiont
like a bubble
when you explode
no body knows
But see how daring is he
the boy in B&W strips
making a livelihood
by selling the bubbles!!!

Hey Rajeev,
Nice post.. I like the movement and graininess... However, I think you could have drawn more attention to the guy on the left. I'm not sure though; the movement on the right of the screen adds to the photo too. I was in Chandigarh just over a month ago! Cheers,
Jas

Hi Rajeev,
wonderful picture. I like the story behind it. Wonderful the bubbles in the air and the little boy that is playing with them. Maybee you could do also some PP so make them little more visible.
Have a nice day,
Tomi

I disagree with Isabella pointing this shot as RAFAL touch.
This is very well taken shot..but not with rafal touch since compo. is complex & rafal love to work to make the composition more artistic by using line & structures with motion & very powerful POV.
This is shot is lot more LIVE with powerful contrast & nice to see passing motion blur. A kid behind the bubbles as like ghost, I would love to see more prominent but it hardly matters since it is just personal taste.
Guy is turban is real boost & really nice manage to put such a wonderful character in this shot.
Rajeev even you can play bit with curves & you can add bit strong ness to long shadows( Just a small note)
Very well done Rajeev.
Tremendous work.
Great efforts.
Keep it up.

Hi Rajeev
A very nice street pic. The positions of the character are excellent and I like that little blur on the right. Nice depth and good lighting too. Very nice street scene.

Hi Rajeev,
Great shot,
The design pattern on the shirt of this man, his white belt, the cragged look on his face complemented by the side buns, the motion blurred bubble pipe he is holding to his mouth as it is going down in the soap solution, coming up,blow through it,again going down..... the pattern of mable floor, the papaji taking a handover.....,the ghostly kid trying to catch the bubbles...
The contrast, the colour ,the mood and off course..sectr 17 of Chandigarh.....the playgroud of youthfullness and the birthplace of so many love stories.. hangout place for Punjab on a saturday...
Absolutely amazing perspective in this pic ..very well conceived and executed by you..
N O S T A G I A...!!!!!!you have made me nostalgic with this pic...

Greetings Rajeev.
I really like this shot. It has a life that sets it apart from the overcomposed photos you sometimes see...The young man blowing the bubbles which stream out into the B&W world chased by the blurred form of a young child. The stripes on the young mans shirt add a nice interest to the foreground with the lines along the shop doors leading towards the back horizon. Candid exchanges of the various shoppers...well done brother.
beautiful smiles to you friend,
Chris

This is the new Rajeev emerging, I like it. B&W, motion blur, minimalist compo but why compare with othrs - this is not Rafal but this is Rajeev, our own Rajeev :)

Hello Rajeev,
a quality work here. i love the long exposure creating all this mystic reality, and the monochrome that renders a timeless feel to this image.
Greetings from Beijing.

Hi Rajeev.
Pas facile ces conditions, mais tu t'en sors très bien.
J'aime le jeu de flou de bougé et de netteté.
Dommage que l'homme de droite soit coupé par contre, tu déclenchais un poil plus vite et c'était gagné.
L'idée me plait bien, un moment intéressant
Bien vu

Goodwill,
Well, here it is. I really like the content of this photo. The boy in the foreground has an interesting look, as if the bubbles are routine, but his gaze appears to be elsewhere. I like the fact that we don't know what he's looking at, not to mention what he's thinking. However, the two men behind him are even more interesting. They are obviously engaged in something, but we do not know exactly what. Moving beyond them, there are more isolated figures in the far background. Once again, very intriguing. Are they setting up shop, closing shop, passing by, or something else? This is what I referred to earlier in our other discussion. There is a sense of wonder that allows the imagination to to work. Also, because of the various layers of the photo, I can look at it repeatedly and grow with it. If you had explained everything in detail it would lose some appeal, though not all. On the technical side, I think it would have been better to use a faster shutter speed, assuming your camera allows manuak adjustment. There is a little too much blurring for my taste. Having said that, I think this is an example of a photo that succeeds in spite of what I perceive as a technical shortcoming. Content is much more important than mechanics.

Nice photograph. It as if we are there also. Nice B/W format. Life on the street looks good here.
Nice contrast and I like the fact that you caught the man on the right leaving the frame.
Great Job.
