Nice light capture and colors, Interesting result, perfect sharpness too.
ourania (39026) 2013-05-14 11:26
an interesting and effective simple composition with superb depth, great sense of movement in the seascape, a very intriguing vehicle displayed and significant human presence. You've managed the dimming evening light in a wonderful way, the colours have an attractive and atmospheric consistency and cover a wide tonal range. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

An interesting vehicle, and its colours go very well with the beach and the slightly muddy looking water. 100 rupees is not a lot of money, but it sounds much to me who got used to paying 1 rupee or 50 paise for a trishaw ride across town - 40 years ago :-).

Lucky guy is he for seeing so much ladies bathing suits!!
Yellow cast adds rich tones to the vacation mood.
May I suggest a different cropping for such a future situation: Moving subjects need space to move ahead.

Good text with the given data ...
Good composition, nice beach demonstrated the taxi and waves on the water.
Beautiful beach and waves of time on the water.
All the best.

This is truly an exquisite photo. This is an excellent example of how breaking conventions can be so powerful. The conventional wisdom is that one leaves more space in the direction that the vehicle is moving. You did just the opposite and it has resulted in a unique message. The driver is not looking where he is going, by placing him so close to the edge you seem to be saying, "Watch out buddy, you might run into something." Oh, how clever!

this is really awesome shot!Excellently captured and timed scene. But what I like the most is the light in combination with the color scheme of it with so bright and vivid golden sand.Looks unique!
Have a nice day

Not a common composition (most people would
use ( in this case) the space on the left
side), but certainly not wrong. The layers
creates a nice depth. Light management and
the sharpness are also very good.

In Israel this is not allowed on beachs, farhat, but unfortunately we still see such activities by 4X4 and skooters.
Nice dynamic photo, caught well the moment.

Ha ha... the handle if for holding! They would never get that past the health and safety people in the UK! I like the mis-spelling of toolbox to tolbox too - the toll is 100 rupees!
Nice shot telling us something of daily life here!
ChrisJ (107161) 2013-05-15 2:47
A well composed shot with a level sea horizon line (placed well away from the centre too) and good sharpness. Excellent warm cold colour contrasts between the pale blue grey sea and sky and the yellow sand. The fg trolley van and rider provide a good focal point bottom left. Tfs!

Ciao e buona serata

nice the view as the presentation of the passing by in front of your lens the beach runner.I like the created layers, the excellent quality of the image as the correct placement in the frame of the tricycle.
jacquest (18919) 2013-05-15 12:01
This is a nice cath of this unusual vehicule. I like the contrsat between it's gree color and the golden sand. The waves are adding a mood of sound and movement. The placement of the vehicule would be more effective with the space in front.
Cricri (113701) 2013-05-15 12:33

A very curious vehicle.
I like frame and colors.

Anything to make a living. I've seen vehicles in my native Philippines put together from parts of different source. "Necessity is a mother of invention..." as the saying goes. Nicely captured with good lighting and dof with nice details. I like the colors of the sand. Well done, tfs.

Namaskar dear Farhat
A very attractive photo, beautifully composed in the Rule of Thirds, with superb rich colours and textures. I like where you positioned the man and also the details you obtained from his cart. A superb photo, nice work!

jcpix (13846) 2013-05-16 17:21
Did you catch him unexpectedly, his hand over his mouth looks like he was surprised?!! :) A great daily life image, with a nice backdrop to fortify the job being worked up and down the beach. The color contrast of the green vehicle sitting on the golden sand is strong, and the soft sunlight gives some nice tone and warmth. I like what you've done with the composition, putting the driver off to one side and allowing for open space. Good observation and well executed result. Thanks for sharing the view and the moment. have a nice Friday.
All the best,
josepmarin (58087) 2013-05-17 8:23
an amazing vehicle, well caught in your capture, in an image with a good dynamism and a nice graphical effect.
The stripes of the beach, of the sea, and of the sky, works very well in the composition, adding a great contrast with the man in his vehicle in foreground.
marina7 (8055) 2013-05-17 11:16
that's a pretty and bright picture showing a very original means of transportation:) I like its green color against the vibrant yellow sand. I'm missing the beach time too:)
Have a great weekend!

a very successful photography everyday life. I especially liked the color of the sand.
pierrefonds (61954) 2013-05-19 17:20
The distance between the beach and the horizon is giving depth to the compoaition. The point of view is showing the details and colours of the trolley van. The good luminosity is bringing out the colours. Have a nice day.
Hansaphotos (7621) 2013-05-20 13:06
This is a very nice shot, especially for its colours. In my opinion the sky is a bit boarding and do not add much to the picture. I think the picture would have benefited if you had left the sky out. I really like the contrast between the bike and the orange/brown sand. Great work! TFS. Have a nice evening.
Best regards, Erling

original transportation, must be fun go along the beach in this kind of van
Good to capture it at this moment without other elements to attack attention
Greetings and congrats

100 ruppes = 1.39 € it's expensive for local people not for tourists
In my town you can use tramyays and buses for 1.70 € for one hour trip

what a great post for TE, as a Canadian, I had no idea what this was, so its a fantastic cultural image.
your note describes this perfectly.
even the title of the photo caught my attention.
I'd certainly pay the man 100 rupees!

nice composition with the bike and the beach. The bike and the horizon are well placed on the left and upper third, respectively.
tomi1 (2212) 2013-11-13 10:58
Mandarmani beach as I could know has about 13 km of distance. A distance that can be covered on foot having time to it. I have walked distances of about 9 km. For instance in Portugal the line of Caparica may range 25km. Anyway in the actual times isolate walkings must be avoided. Even foreign people may become dangerous. Gays normally like the isolation or simply people who want to be naked. In this country is normal. But in Algarve foreign people gather in beaches whose access must be done careful. Normally such beaches are too crowdy looking as paradises. Nordic people use come to the south. Concerned to your photo the vehicle certainly must ride slowly to avoid any kind o accident. Warm regards. Tomi
