Among the two/three starting point for the trek to Sandakphu, one is Manebhanjan. A road from Ghoom reaches Manebhanjan via Sukhiapokhri. We reached there at 4pm in the evening and we had plan to start our trek from Chitrey the next day which is just 3km ahead. While other fellow members were busy loading the baggages in the land rovers, four of us already started the trek from Manebhanjan itself. The weather was foggy and we were moving through the steep turns of road. After we had already covered more than 1km the cars came and took us to Chitrey.

Thanks for showing how a way to a most outstanding place starts. A great journey starts with just one step...

This shot has a great atmosphere, the fog is looking really nice here. I just wish you hadn't put the man in the center of the frame, a low POV also might look interesting...Just a thought.

this is an excellent composition
only a little stitch would have made it even better i.e. had you placed the person in one of the golden points then placing him centrally...
otherwise a very soft & crisp shot

Works very well...this is so typical a high altitude scene. The mist creates wonderful layers of the trees as they disappear in the BG. The boy with the bright colour of his dress is a good addition. Good perspective with the road. Well done!
