Photographer's Note

It was close to noon !!! and the cows were collecting their last bunch of grass for the day as the sunlight would soon go away and the clouds would cover up the land very fast, leaving behind a chilling weather almost impossible to see anything near or far...
This is a common phenomenon which has become a part of the daily life in the hills of Bengal.


I took this shot at the grazing land in front of Shikhar Lodge, Tumbling at about 11 a.m. The road that can be seen in the picture is the way to & from Meghma.
