The Sundarbans Mangroves ecoregion on the coast forms the seaward fringe of the delta and is the world's largest mangrove ecosystem, with 20,400 square kilometres (7,900 sq mi) of area covered. The dominant mangrove species Heritiera fomes is locally known as sundri or sundari. Mangrove forests are not home to a great variety of plants. They have a thick canopy, and the undergrowth is mostly seedlings of the mangrove trees.

Lovely emerald hues in the water here... Cruising mangroves is a fun and unforgettable experience, I did it several times in different places and loved each one of them. Fine contrast with the white shores.

Bhai khub ghure berachho ar darun darun sob chhobi dichho. A superb one. I like the minimal effect with mainly two colours. Like those roots coming out from the land... Excellent framing. Enjoyed it a lot. Bhalo chhobi. Tfs.

Such an original composition from the Sunderbans, the largest delta on earth. Like the way the green waterway is snaking through those heavily forested mud banks. Those roots look sharp and I know they are razor sharp in reality. Thanks for sharing a nice shot.

What makes it so distinctive is the glow of green water to the muddy bank so it stands out so well in the composition. Mangrove forest is precious to mankind, the protector on the unstable coastline teeming wife life and source of food supporting the livelihoods of the local inhabitants, thus seeing this lively incredible green nature beauty is a real pleasure indeed. Lovely detail and tones in this - really get the feel of the place. It's a great TE contribution. Well done, TFS
