It was 4:52 am in the morning. Everyone was asleep in the train-Kanchankanya Express, but somehow I was unable to sleep the whole night. I was spending some time by roaming here and there in the train and then when the sky started to brighten I took a seat in the side lower birth and started taking some snaps. This was somewhere near Dinajpur on our way to Bindu.

Nice early morning shot, Sayan. Great light and the electrical transmission tower adds perspective. Nice work, Mike

A very nice shot..doesn't look like you were in motion..cropping in the FG? The sky is beautiful, but without the electrical tower, this would not have been half as good & very barren. Bit of noise in the sky, but I like this.

My first reaction seeing the pylon was negative ... but when I opened the thumbnail it actually has its purpose in your compo. It gave your sunrise some framing and the lines from the wires are not too bad either. Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs

very well composed. especially from a moving train. actually the pylon is enhancing the shot - without it,this shot would not become an ordinary one.

Interesting composition, in particular how you use the powerline as a compositional element!
Beautiful sky with great variation in light, the early morning atmosphere is well captured!

Merhaba Sayan, my friend...
It's a wonderful and very effective point of view and composition... The light, the colors and the atmosphere are perfect... Also perfect silhouettes...

Nice pic sayan,
Taking shots from moving train is a good idea..
but as angshu said it doesn't look that you are in motion.
(I will try with a high shutter speed in my next train journey :) )

Day break!!.A beautiful capture from a very unusual place- a moving train.
Sometimes when you see an electrical tower in a picture you feel , why should it be there to kill the beauty of the scene. But in your picture, it adds beauty to it- a very rare case.:) Good POV, colours and composition.
Thanks for the share,

Good photo from the running train. The effect of rising Sun is good. It is truth that electricity is now a necessity and we can't ignore its lines.
Thanks for sharing.

I can imagine you on the train, happy to see the first lights of the day - maybe not the best POV, but a travel photo with strong impressions, and I think I understand how you felt... Beautiful sky, strange setting, somewhere near Dinajpur ; was there about 3 years ago (south Dinajpur), to visit schools, and loved the countryside there...
TFS, best regards,

I think it is praiseworthy to compose and shoot from a moving train, and this shot deserves credit for that. However, since I know what you are really capable of, I expect much better from you. I hope you don't mind.

wow! what a capture of rising sun from a moving train. it is really creditable to get such a sharp pic from a moving train in such low light condition. electric wires give nice perspective. tfs.

At last, a new post from you! And what an impressive one, my friend! Amazing composition, excellent subject and those magnificent colours of sunrise create an excellent atmospheric photo. Congratulations!

A superb shot at daybreak. I am impressed that the image is as sharp as this, considering the moving train. The composition is very good, with the powerlines creating a very organizing structure, and are position perfectly for the perspective.

Lovely colours of the sunrise. Interesting composition with the pylon and wires.

A great atmosphere, an useful note to understand the purpose...
Thanks for sharing this moment and this train mood.
