Photographer's Note

First of all I would like to wish all my friends a very happy P˘hela Boishakh, Baisakhi, Rongali Bihu, Puthandu and Pooram Vishu.

Its New year for bengalis and that is why I have posted this photograph of the youngest member of the family of GOPARMA HOTEL in SIRIKHOLA..as the new beginning.!!

Poila Boishakh (Bengali: পহেলা বৈশাখ P˘hela Boishakh or পয়লা বৈশাখ P˘ela Boishakh) is the first day of the Bangla Calendar. Poila Boishakh is celebrated in a festive manner in both Bangladesh and West Bengal, as well as by Bengali people in Tripura. Hence, Poila Boishakh connects all ethnic Bengalis irrespective of religious and regional differences. In Bangladesh, Poila Boishakh is a national holiday and in West Bengal it is a public holiday. It falls on April 14 or April 15 of the Gregorian calendar depending on the use of the new amended or the old Bangla calendar respectively. In Bangladesh, it is celebrated on April 14 according to the official amended calendar designed by the Bangla Academy.

Poila Boishakh is also known as নববর্ষ N˘bob˘rsho, or Bengali New Year, as it is the first day of the first month of Boishakh in the B˘nggabdo (Bangla Calendar). This day is a very festive time for Bengalis.

In the Upanishads it is said that there are three consciousness levels of Humans:

1) SOUL CONSCIOUSNESS:A newborn baby is in his/her soul consciousness meaning the baby is still influenced by the past life he/she had and that is why he has no inhibitions

2)BODY CONSCIOUSNESS: Gradually the same baby is made aware of his body and his well being and to fall as a part of the humanity which teaches a lot about good and bad(it becomes his/her choice which path he/she takes justified by/his/her karma)

3)SUPER CONSCIOUSNESS OR "KUTHASTYA CHAITANYA" OR CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS: The consciousness of the supreme power and self realisation which one has to develop with in one's self to commune with the almighty)

I HAVE DEPICTED THE SOUL CONSCIOUSNESS HERE THROUGH THIS BEAUTIFUL BABY WHO WAS BORN IN A PLACE WITH A POPULATION OF 20 AMONGST PUREST FORM OF NATURE.

Get Initiated and do a self realisation..!!! God is not far, God is very near..feel him to be with him..!!!
Everybody has been sent for a purpose and doing one's Karma is the biggest worship of the Almighty..!!!
