Samsing is a small village in the foothills in the Dooars region of North Bengal. Nature has been very kind to this place with an abundance of green all around. fertile soil, dense forests and gurgling streams dot the landscape.
Paddy is being grown here in terraced lands.

Hi Nabarun, congratulations for this shot, I really love the open space sense that it gives and the green makes it even more refreshing, I also enjoyed reading your note it goes beautifully hand in hand with this photo, well done again and all the best, Salas

ah! Nabarun, this one is cool. pity for the washed out sky, the valley down far below with the river basin is not too clear. but i know what it looks like, ... superb.
thanks for posting.

this one is a real beauty..!! I liked the point of convergence of the green field here with the plains shown below..ektu over exposed but thats not harming the shot very much..the POV is very good and the colours are excellent..!!..I want to see the river shots from Samsing...!!! tulecho..???
