Samsing is a small settlement on the hills of Doars in West Bengal. The nearest township is Metli which is around 30 kms away. The area is well known for the stream Santhali Khola that gargles around Samsing. There is a river camp where the tourists can put up. The most beautiful thing in the area is the weather that is sometimes pretty unpredictable. The clouds can descend any time from the hills and cause a drizzle, but it has its own beauty. The way to the Santhali Khola stream is basked with all nature's glory with curious flora that has all the colours of the rainbow. Samsing can be visited as a part of sight-seeing while in Doars or also be a post while going by.
