This photograph was taken at Rishop, West Bengal,India.
Rishop is a small village at 8500 ft hight. Most of the residents are Lapcha. It is a wonderful place from where u can enjoy the Kanchanjungha,if weather permits.
During our tour we did not look her for not even a single time.
The photograph is taken at noon, about 13-00 hrs(just after the composition of Fire in The sky photograph). I fixed my camera for more that 3 mins with a f/22 aperture and use no filter. After processing I found there r lot of blue tone all over the photograph. I did not try to process it through PS. I like the tone.
Hope u also like the mood here.
Camera- Nikon F-80

Beautiful photo Partha
The hills covered with blue mist look amazing and the tree look almost unreal. The only thing I don't like about your photo is a frame, you definitely should have chosen different color for this one. If you can, RP the photo because in my opinion it spoils great atmosphere you managed to capture here.
Take care, Wojtek

way, way, way too much blue in this shot. the frame kills it because our eye is drawn to the frame, not the shot. it's too much blue and the frame colour is a really ugly bright blue.
i think frames are a good idea and your shot is really nice. the foggy mountain is an interesting subject.
estaban's workshop fixes half the problem, but i still think his frame is too dark. i've done a workshop too, but i've made my frame white. i think that really pulls out the natural colour of the photo.

La frame est très moyenne, c'est dommage car on ne voit que ça et c'est d'autant plus malheureux que la photo est SUPERBE et attire réellement le regard

I agree the frame wasn't the best idea (the idea is clear enough - there's no need to further help viewer catch it), but I still love the surreal light and mood you've managed to capture in this impressive shot.

the long exposure does show up here. very nice take. i think, a different, white/black border does it for me.

You know I am a fan of yours and i can tell you this is one of your best photos.I can almost fell the wind by watching the tree on the lest, and i can alpost feel danger coming when i see this blue mist coming down. Congratulations, Partha!

Excellent capture. What a colour!!It feels like heaven. But yes, make the border black and white.
Great shot.Expecting more like this from you.

No doubt, it's a good capture. Rishop is a beautiful place and especially in May/June the clouds over here create great moods. It is your eye that has rightly captured the place with a special mood. But I think the frame though it is harmonic, is still little disturbing.

Very nice catch indeed. the blue mood of the picture is giving a dreamy feeling! Great...
But I agree with David, Arnab-da and Subhajit that the frame colour is not at all going with your picture!
