looking back at the trail one has traveled is always fascinating during a trek.and from here one can actually see almost the entire trail from the trekker's hut of phalut.(i dont know whether you can actually spot the hut,but it is visible). during my trek in the singalila national park in the eastern himalaya.the peak behind is kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest in the world.
place:Phalut or Falut is the second highest peak of West Bengal, India. Part of the Singalila Ridge in the Himalayas, it is located at the border of the Indian states of West Bengal and Sikkim and the country of Nepal.

I like the contrast of colors here. Very well framed the man in front. The clarity, sharpness and lights very well managed.

This person is alone facing the rugged mountains, gorgeous gorgeous vista. It's perfect in vertical format, a nice job well done.

Great frame to get so many things together.Never been to Phalut although stayed in Darjeeling for 7 months last year.Excellent choice of your angle this gives perspective and depth to the image. It appears that the tiny village road leads to the mighty Kanchenjunga.TFS

This is an excellent composition. The blue man and the backpack are both very well placed at different levels of he foreground. The quite gently winding trail obviously offers marvellous views for the trekkers. For us, it gives the picture very good depth. The high peaks in the background look as great as ever.
