My trigger happy ego turned curious about this cute little girl while she was playing with her mates on the walking path (not a street of course) in Sillery village. I snapped her activities till I assessed the amount to be enough. This one is my best choice. I liked the expression in her eyes.
“Sillery” is a cool mountain village nestled amongst Himalayan hills. The name represents a plant named so, that grows there abundant. It’s only a 4 KM. trek from Pedong which is on the ancient Silk route.
We spent a long two hours in that village and interacted with the residents. The people here belong mostly to the Lepcha community and a few Nepalees. Pedong is an upcoming tourist spot in West Bengal and Sillery is one village in their site seeing list.
The kid’s eyes appear to be squinted but it’s only an apparent manifestation. Because of the wide nasal bridge of childhood the eyes appear so. It gets corrected as the child grows. It manifests more in the mongoloid faces.

Hi Doctor J,
The innocence of the little girl that oozes out from the shot is remarkable. Innocence is a charecter that charecterises most of the people of the hills ,isnt it?

Olá Dr. J., this is a nice portrait, well composed off centered and with an attractive green background. It seems a bit flat and with lack of contrast, but I see that Indro made you an excellent WS. I also would prefer that she was looking at you, so we can feel a connection with her inner soul, but it's still a good shot, along with a fine note.

It's a beautiful portrait. She is indeed very cute and photogenic and her meditative expression is impressive. The clarity of the image is great and the smoothness on the exact dose results very well here. The apparent strabismus is part of the charm and I am glad to have learnt about that manifestation from your note.

Interesting place, interesting people J.
I think here you made a good portrait of the little girl. Placed here well in the compo, offcentered. Also had the shot whil having a fine facil expression of the girl.

Such a cute little girl!
Well, I´m not ophtalmologist and I can only see the beauty of her eyes. They look pretty so.
Well done, Dr. J!

Off centre and blurred background make for a very nice portrait of this girl. She has those eyes of the cat in Shrek. Lovely photograph

dear Dr. J.
I like very much to see this girl's eyes. It seems very far from the children where I live, yet it's pure as any child.

Hello Dr. J,
Very nice portrait of that little, cute Sillery girl. Your explanation about her eyes is interesting. It is nice to hear it from an expert Ophthalmologist :)
The position of the model on left side of the frame and the blured green background are both appropriate. I also checked the WSs and to tell the truth I don't realy care about the sharpness and the quality of the colours here. I believe you managed to reach your aim. This is a good shot ;)

Hi Dr. J.,
the expression of the girl is great. Good composition with the principal theme so natural and beautiful.

you can see the innocence in her face and behind that background gives it a feel of paradise.
