.. .. a stroll along Mongpoo's bus stand - bazar area took me to these kids. We were walking casually, found a road on our left to take us to Upper Labda, a village on our way while coming to Mongpoo; seen the Gompha of Mongpoo [don't have a pic of that since I hadn't found a good place to snap it completely] .. ..
.. .. in search of momo we were walking along the bazaar where you'll find a lot of tailoring shops [most of them were closed when we visited them in the fear of darkness, it was about 17.45]. These kids were sitting by the side of the main road. As always, they reciprocated my smile and enjoyed to be my model. I snapped them, shown their 'foto' and snapped their expressions again. Here is their EXPRESSIONS.

There is much blurriness to this but i do love the composition and the kid look so lively.
I specially like the child in the rich blue shirt on the left.
Nice texture on the background.

Hi Kausik, I like this composition and the smiles of the children but the shot is a little blur (the background is very sharp) -

i think this is great job. the blurs are an asset here, apart from the array of faces with different expressions and maybe, also the variety of facial features. they move back to front, so it is not as bad as one gets with the lateral movements.
the colors and use of space have been prefect to me.
pS: it is as warm as Kolkata not in Treiste, i leave tonight for Rome. see you by the weekend.

cute kids Kausik.. you have to be careful , they will enter the lens of your camera.. a funny situation..

A nice photo and a nice story. The blur here is okay with me, it just contributes to the dynamic character of the picture. Well done indeed.

I thought this picture was taken in China !
nice expressions on the children's faces, too bad the boy in front is out of focus, but I guess it's difficult to take a still shot when the kids are jumping with excitement all around your camera.
well done Kausik.

i really like compositions like this, as it reflects a certain willingness for photographers to get close to their subjects. too bad about the blur though, but i guess its difficult to get perfect images with compact cameras. if you did have more control though (i.e. with an SLR), i would have used a faster ISO speed/film to make sure the movement was managed. not to worry though, it was a good try, and the expressions on the children's faces were well captured. cheers

a jolly picture-though slightly blurred... but still full of laughter and happiness :)

it was a very nicely composed shot ... but you should have been careful with the focussing ... were the kids moving a lot
tfs ... regards ... sarju
