Love the compo a lot. It's straightforward and focus's right in the centre of the pic. Personally I'd probably use a tighter crop but this one works very well, too. Good work. TFS.

A very nice photo of this mother and baby. Just really nice expressions on both their faces! I think that really makes the photo. Nicely photographed! I wish you had told us a little more about this hilltown and the inhabitants.

Great combination of three very different faces. Good background, tight focus and cool depth of field. Nice one all round.

Nice shot with good use of DOF. Really we are very lucky to have place like North Bengal to satisfy & enrich our hunger for travel as well as p'graphy. NB is my all time fav place. Even only mother & child's tight crop version looks great. And in this shot the boy has added extra dimension to this pic.post more of your Sandakphu trek pics. Cheers.

This is a very well composed picture, Partha and it has a good depth of field. Your subjects are just "sharp".

really a nice triple portrait, the girl has really feminine looks, her behaviours are covered with motherhood pride.the eyetouches are not bothering, very natural.

A great photograph, Partha. Looks like it should be in one of those classic travel photography books. Wonderfully spontaneous in appearance. I absolutely love the composition, itself.
If this had been a digital shot, I would have suggested underexposing next time, to bring out detail in the baby's clothes, and getting more out of the shodows later. I don't think you could have done anything about it in this case, and it does not really distract at all.
A wonderful photo!

I think this has been a scanned image...
The composition is very good but the sharpness factor cannot be ignored all together ...
