When we left for a sudden tour to Mandarmoni, we were looking for a pregnant sky for it was monsoon. Our visit to Mandarmoni didnt disappoint us. No sooner we reached the beach, clouds loomed overhead. By dusk the promise of a shower was almost certain.
This shot was taken in the pre-dusk moments .. when there was a hint of sunlight amidst the clouds.
I loved the all encompassing adament attitude of the looming clouds and pressed the shutter.

The monsoon clouds give this picture a wonderful atmosphere and you low POV does them full justice. Three persons, one dressed in red, also make the beach look interesting. The surf of the sea glows from the few sunrays that reach earth. This is a fascinating scenery, and most Westerners, unused to the monsoon, would hardly consider going to the beach on a day like this.

Great sky but the image is let down by bad ppw
looking at it from here i can see the clear join on the left and at the bottom of the sky.
Its a pity because it spoils a really good image
If 2 images are to be joined then at the join its good to blur it slightly if they do not marry perfectly together
I hope the sky is not from another image but just layered out and worked on then returned using the blur tool at the join would have made it look realistic

nice to see you back again. It is a really nice sea beach as I think, and clouds can make it more romantic which I also realised in my tour. Great atmosphere. Only the right portion of horizon line creates some confusion in my mind. Anyway it is a superbly shot indeed which I enjoyed very much. Thanks for sharing.
