Malda is the main town of the district of the same name of the Indian state of West Bengal. Malda region is washed by the waves of the rivers Ganges, Mahananda, Fulahar and Kalindri. A large number of the people living near the rivers are fishermen and own fishing boats that are used to lay nets. One such boat was laying nets when that late afternoon I was prowling the enbankment.
Simply cropped and sharpened.

that is a really warm and nice composition. love the diagonal touch and the silhouette of the tree.

nice composition, a little noise but ignorable.taking pictures with a tele has its disadvantages.

Nice shot Salil. well captured. I think the softness of focusing is due to the branch at right top corner. The silhouette effect has played a good roll but occupied too much space. Cheers.

Love this one. The juxtaposition of three compositional elements at three distance scales is very good.
[I agree that the top branch spoiled your autofocus a bit]
