India Celebrated her 68th Independence Day on 15th Aug 2014 and as usual there were celebrations with the tricolor being hoisted across several avenues.
Some more of the I Day Celebrations here
The weather tried to mar the celebrations and as I was enjoying the celebration sin my hometown in Darjeeling I fancied upon this father daughter duo , some rows in front of me. The father had an umbrella but what inspired me was the colorful beads tied on the little girls hair.
Just then a thought crossed by mind why don't i transform it into monochrome and just highlight the colors of life. Thus , I worked it on in PS and post processing I have it here to share on TE.
The only fear though is again the admins pulling it down sighting violation of some policies of TE.
Yes they are the boss and we must respect their decision but it kinda becomes unruly when you see that simple images from day to day life start getting mugged and deleted.
I somehow was able to cling onto a direct link of one of my images here:
They say it is a daily object and is being pulled down.
Some of you friends had suggested with valuable input in my Dragonfly shot , which too has been pulled down
We will keep learning and keep sharing what passes the admin's bar
