the teen lamas were playing football, and this younger kid was used as a ball boy.whenever the ball would go to the woods,or fall to the mountain side they made him fetch it.but no one took him in the team.after a while this kid had a grumpy face.others had a laugh about it. the others then got considerate and allowed this kid to hit a free kick,in front of the goal(make shift). he smiled and ran at the ball with full vigor, and hit the ball amazingly hard, only to land it at the mountain side.he was made to fetch the ball again. :)

A nice "Action" shot. The reason for the stubborn concentration on the face is revealed in your detailed note. The tight framing leaves the viewer guessing for the rest of the scene.TFS

now that`s a sad little story, however it did allow you to capture this lovely action shot, the colours are delightful and the look of concentration on his face is great.

the joy of playing football does not know boundaries of age, continent, race, or wealth. It's just the kick to kick, no matter if your shoes show three stripes or not, if a well kept green is available or just pebbles. Very dynamic and colourful shot, I like it!

like this. A real action shot and so unusual to see football being played in this context and setting. They call it the beautiful game and this image proves that its influence crosses barriers and thrives all over the world. Wonderful imagery!
Enjoy your Sunday - Brian.

I really like this! It is a great moment captured but it also works on so many levels the contrast of culture and the values of football as opposed to the spiritual values of Buddhism etc. A fascinating subject that makes you think and smile at the same time.

Good timing & nice post with the novice about to kick the ball. Why not a wider view for this shot?
