I took this shot near the Howrah Bridge.
The Howrah Bridge is a cantilever bridge with a suspended span over the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India. Commissioned in 1943,the bridge was originally named the New Howrah Bridge, because it replaced a pontoon bridge at the same location linking the two cities of Howrah and Kolkata.

Impressive and very well framed shot of this bridge here. It is a very successful composition with the bridge leading from the corner in to the picture, sky changing the color from white to blue over the bridge and the green architecture under the bridge.
have a great sunday

An impressive photo of this famous bridge. I travelled across it in 1977 into Howrah, but the taxi driver said not to open the window or get out of the car! We turned around and drove back.
I like the angle of view very much, the shadows, and the foliage filling the top left corner, adding to the sense of depth. It's a good panoramic crop, well framed.

Yeah that is the famous Howrah Bridge and it has not changed at all. I like the live on the bridge, the endless traffic and stream of walkers. It so busy but also so much India. Well done

Looks a little like the Story Bridge in Brisbane, which was inspired by the Jacques Cartier Bridge in Montreal. Good sharpness and I like the wide angled, panoramic format & minimalist colour. Excellent graphism and the bridge nicely frames the distant shore at right. Tfs!
