Photographer's Note
This place is Chintamani Kar Bird Sanctuary situated further south of Kolkata. 17acre of land with with many fruit bearing trees where loads of birds do their nest and during winter many migratory birds also come. Here there are water monitors and Bengal monitors, few sp of snakes, beautiful place for butterflies, amphibians and insects. But due to the density of trees it is very difficult for light to penetrate...so not a very good place for photography.

The sunrays through the foliage have made the photo special. I feel the difficult light has been handled quite well.
