Photographer's Note
In the streets of Kolkata, an unexpected photo opportunity.
I was just lucky enough to have my settings ready and the subjects to be at the right place with the right background.

Howdy neighbour
What I like most here is how from this pov the box is under the parasol too. Excellent light on the woman's feet and good that that beautiful bag also gets sunlight. The parallel postures of both walkers is another positive element. Many things to like here. Thanks for posting this older shot.

Hi Andre,
The juxtaposed persons here are striding along with their steps in a fine rhythm. The umbrella adds a very pleasant colour to the scene. Well observed.
Kind regards

Hi Andre - I think the most charming aspect to this shot is the synchronicity of step, the woman and boy have a provided a good flow across the frame. The other aspect which I think works well is the pink and blue colour combination, together they 'lift' the rather earthy colour palette. Well timed DL shot. Warm regards Rosemary

Nickel!

Hello André,
Very well seen and very well taken too. And so very fortunate that you had your camera on just the right settings as the moment arrived.
The little boy is portrayed well against the plain blue door but to me the most striking thing in this lovely picture is the wonderful sihouette of the lady's face, in the shade of her umbrella, against that same blue door.
The lighting is superb, the sense of movement excellent and the details and sharpness exquisite.
Fabulous!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Andre - a great moment here. Good for you to be able to react so quickly and get such a great synchronized shot, and with ideal settings that express light and shadow so nicely. The pale blue door creates an ideal backdrop for the shot.

Hello Andre,
The pink umbrella against the blue paint catches the eye and I do love the boy in the BG with a similar stride to the woman. A very well caught piece of street photography.
Kind Regards, Ann

bonsoir Andre

Hello Andre,
A wonderfully captured decisive moment. The precision of the framing, the frame in the frame effect, the similitude of the strides are elements that give this image a rather unique touch, the umbreloa adds an incongruous flavor, some sort of British flegm. Bravo,
Emmanuel
