“Juntos num só ritmo” or “All in One Rhythm”.
This is the motto of this Soccer World Cup in Brazil. The World Cup has started in Rio and so is the soccer fever everywhere in the world.India is no different. This soccer action shot is dedicated to the teams participating in this years world Cup in Brazil. We would like to see the Indian boys too playing in the World Cup.Maybe we need another coach like Syed Abdul Rahim who can take Indian Soccer to the world arena.

A great tribute to the beautiful game and a great example that massive stadiums and huge ceremonies are not needed for the enjoyment of the game. A really good action shot, a moment frozen. And perfectly suited to black and white too. Nicely done

A picture with a gesture to teh World-Cup games nowadays, Farhat, a neighbourhood playground for the local's - well taken.
B&W is very much needed format here, for the dust raised and light.
Enjoy a nice weekend,

I've always associated India with other sports than football.
But when football in your country will gain popularity, you're able to develop a huge reserve of good players, just like Brazil.
Good action shot!
Best regards, Paul

It seems that qualifying for the World Cup is still a distant dream for India, but for those playing football the joy of the game is pretty much the same regardless of their level. This is a good action photo from a dramatic moment of the game where it seems unclear which player will capture the ball.

A good action shot. The B&W has been handled well. Don't give up cricket for soccer though.

I think that I've told you before that I love football, should be watching England vs Uruguay right now, I'll watch the second half more carefully and then Greece vs Japan after midnight... This World Cup is great but it has cost much pain and frustration to the people of Brazil who are concerned with more important matters for their wellbeing. Your picture is great, full of the spontaneity and passion of the game. Clarity is excellent and the monochrome works superbly. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Right in line with the times, and the crazed atmosphere that is World Cup football. A topical and fun image which plays right into the current theme...quite literally. :) Although it's still not one of the major sports in the U.S., the television ratings for these matches have been incredibly high...it's gaining in popularity each year. An action filled shot with an artistic black & white touch. Well played! :) Enjoy the new day. All the best.

An interesting composition in black and white with a lot of movement and action. The ball in the air adds a strong mood of play and speed. The framing of the scene is well done and there is good sharpness.

Interesting reportage photo.
The black & white increase this emotions.

Your stop action Indian boys playing soccer is stimulating, and hopefully sharing sports, countries will learn to share even more.
In the U.S. soccer is gradually and slowly increasing in popularity. We had to play soccer in high school physical education class, even though we preferred the other sports.
Thanks for sharing,

SWEETFREEDOM (24621) 2014-06-21 0:40
nice picture of these people playing. good b/w treatment.
CLODO (35938) 2014-06-21 1:26
Apparently, it's not taken in a Brazilian stadium!
I like the sense of movement in your picture given by the people's position and the place of the ball in the frame. One player is barefooted!
have a nice WE

Namaskar dear Farhat
A beautiful photo to celebrate the World Cup with. It seems that the world can be united in their love of the Beautiful Game. Excellent action shot, very sharp and beautifully documented in B&W, so appropriate for the timelessness this represents.
