A view of the road that runs to Lava via gorubathan. This picture is taken near the Ambioke tea estate 5 km from Gorubathan.
At the foothills of Himalaya, Gorubathan is a nice place to visit. The attractions include the sprawling Ambioke tea estate and the Languid river that
runs just beside the sleepy town.
The place can be best enjoyed in the monsoon. Sadly though this monsoon I don't think anybody would be able to visit the place, due to the recent turmoil in Darjeeling hills.
May be the next monsoon bring some luck to us!

Very nice scenery and a good composition with the road going diagonally in between the bushes. Nice contrast between the green surroundings and the rusty redness of the roofs. The presence of the woman contributes a lot to the composition.
