The Santhal (also spelled as Santal (formerly also spelt as Sontal or Sonthal)), are the largest tribal community in India, who live mainly in the states of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and Assam.
In my village side area there is a lot of inhabitant of santal people. These 2 kids were roaming around there, while i was taking some photographs for my "golden bengal " series. This one is likely to be considered as a significant part of the series.
The people are naturally shy a little, their kids are too much shy. They were eagerly looking at me what i am doing.
I had some problem with my canon camera,so i managed my friend's Nikkon Coolpix. This photo has been taken with that.

I like the light and shadow effect on the faces of these boys. Good use of the light. The smaller one has a more inquisitive and suspicious look which adds more to the mood of the photo. Nice one, thanks for sharing.

Really a great shot and excellent work done. The shadow part has given a different looks. You have achieved to take their honest faces.

It is certainly a nice composition dear brother. The mood is very keenly presented. They are innocent and ignorant. They are curious about camera too, which I felt. The only problem with this shot is the different sharpness level in the same plane beside them. May be for the selective blur effect. Otherwise it is a very very good one. Tfs.

this is a very strong and interesting picture. The children's curiosity won their shyness and their gaze holds ours in an irresistible way. Apart from their expressions, their body language is very interesting too. All the details and textures are significant, your light and contrast management is original and effective, you made this portrait look very rewarding and interactive. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely week,
