Fishing boats at Diamond Harbor in West Bengal. Caught in frame with the crimson pall of the last sunrays still kissing the earth.
Brought in a touch of sepia, to go with the feel.

this is good work Sagar, what I like most is the boats kept on a nice position. the hypothetical curve joining the boats take our eyes towards 'infinity'. Nice work. colors are a bit unnatural though and lacks a bit of sharpness. still a nice one.

It is really a coincidence perhaps that we have posted similar photographs. I really like this composition and whole photograph reflects that quite but fascinating effect almost unexplainable thing.. The quality could have been better but however , i really like this post and the sepia mood is superb. I wish there was a bit of reflection that would have made it more superb!! Anyways, thanks for sharing this one...
Have a superb weekend and PAYLABAISAK,

Beautiful shot! The sepia look is adding to the mood. The composition is very nice too, this shot does give a feel of infinty.

Hi friend! Wow what a photo! Amazing colors, great composition. I like it, however I can see some noises here. But the perspective is really good. Thanks friend!

I like the touch of sepia you have added to this shot, makes it look like it was taken a century ago and not this year. Nice composition, the placement of the boats is quite interesting. Thanks for sharing!

I see I've been missing some wonderful captures while I have so little time for TE. This one is wonderful in its simplicity. Composition of three part boats as silhuettes in wonderful orange atmopshere in simply marvelous. Vastness of opened sea scape is felt greatly but with most warm ambiental feeling. Wonderful capture!
Wish you pleasant Sunday,
PS: I do apologize for my ignorance in these days till end of april.

Very good in the deep copper tones. Like the line of boats & the shimmering reflection in the horizon. Could have bettered the sharpness IMO.

I would agree with the above on sharpness and for me a bit heavy coloring, just one ot two tones down would have looked perfect I think. Also maybe a plain b/w.
But it is a lovely catch, with great mood, and well thought composition, with the boats aligned on three different levels, and lots of peaceful feeling coming out of it!

Nice shot. The strong contrast is really showing here even in sepia. Good composition to show the boats in disarray and a mood to it.

Very moody image, with a wonderful compo and beautiful warm tones.
It's only pity that the sharpness isn't better.

this ia an orange and sepia world like another planet...Mars or Mercury...but these ships are really of the Earth.
and this water looks red sand of imaginative desert...ships may be camels lined and traveling.
we cannot know what is the infinity, but can feel how is the infinity, like this picture.

The image processing is surprising and gives to this marine landscape an particular atmosphere even surrealist . Good management of the light. Pretty glance Sagarneel.

Hi Sagar. Well composed. Well titled. Infinity. Lot to be felt than to be seen here. Nice work. Regards.

Nicely composed with unusal colours. The boats form a line for the eye to follow to infinity.

Lovely sunset image with the fishing boats put away for the evening. I particularly like the row of three boats, which could have made a second image with a bit more zoom. Well done

good to see you back, friend! :) due to work, i've been either absent or very slow on the site too lately. so, where are some more exciting india insights from sagar? ;)) just kiddin'. i see, i have not commented on this one (even though i wanted to earlier). lovely mood! the sepia tanslation is right on and the composition is well balanced. unfortunately, the shot lacks sharpness though: not sure what the reason. given that you were shooting aginst the sun, the speed should have been quite high. maybe the aperture was too wide open?
