As the sun sets, on the forth day (Dashami) of the Durga Puja festival, Goddess Durga along with her children is immersed in the river, thus brings to the end of the Durga Puja, mythologically Devi Dirga returns back to her in-laws.
Here the Swamiji (Sanyasi) and the other man returns from the mid river after immersing the idols.
