railway station always has a lot of opportunity for shooting.... you can just wait and watch different people there.. u see somebody is waiting to welcome , somnbody has come to station to farewell.. somebody is coming home, somebody is going for a new venture... lot of emotions lot of activities....
... but you have to be careful while shooting in stations.. i myself was caught by police at sealdah while shooting.. so need to watch always before you shoot...
... i was watching this lady for a long time... i didnt know for whom she is waiting... didnt know why she is waiting... didnt know she is waiting at all or not...like those shadows didnt even know whether really anybody is there for her or not ...

the "game of colours" and the "shadows" are great combined.

nice image Sandip, nice light and play of shadows, if the shadow on the woman the picture would be even more interesting. one thing bothering me here is lack of sharpness though. nice shot still

wow! SAndip, this one is amazing! pity the woman is not sharper, but it does not ruin my pleasure of looking at it, though;-) the light on this woman and the shadows make a great photo! it could have been improved with a sharper focus on her and without the shadow cast on her dress as well...

I read 'Ladies coupe' by Indian author Anita Nair recently, your picture could be perfect ilustration for this book. A lady just before taking the train, or leaving it after completing her journey...
Fantastic light and shadows.

Hi Sandip, nice colors and shadows, I like the light and this composition, this red on this blue. Too bad that the lady is not sharper.

Nice Idea & fine compo to go with it Sandip!
A very thoughtful shot. Probably a Theme on Railway station would make an intersting one in TE?...

Une compo très intéressante, je trouve ca très beau.
La lumière chaude est splendide et fait magnifiquement ressortir ce premier plan.
Le cadrage est excellent avec ces silhouettes sur le eagon qui donne un très bon fond d'image.
