This was our first day stay at chitrey, a very small village on the Way to Sandakhphu trekking(12000 ft).
Its about 5-30 am, its so chilly yhat I cannot kept my hands bare for even a little time. Two of my trek-partners were enjoying the sunrise. I was a little bit late. I found them so small in comparison to the vast nature. i got little emotional to capture the shot.
I dont know how people accept the shot.

Technically the image could be better - the shadows are too deep and the sky is over-exposed.
BUT It's a good record of a special moment and has something about it I like - nice gentle colours and tones.
How small we are indeed, and yet what big problems we create.

I understand your emotion fully, as I have the same kind of feeling during our trip to Sandakphu this March. In front of the vastness of nature, man is so small! I must confess that this kind of emotion "attacks" me everytime I go to a hill. So beautifully captured picture Partha, and the next moment you get a complete differenet colour and the very next moment another colour. The change of colour, the change of the topology of nature after every bend of the road, the vastness-all these are sufficient to make me emotional!

Khub bhalo shot ar mood captured well. Sotti pahare na gele nijeder chena jaena. Color change & ranges captured well. Eta nie kabar Sandakphu holo? January mase Sandakphu to barof e mora? Well, just my feeling, if you crop the sky a bit from top this pic will look different. Because sky has no such interesting character & also I can notice some vignetting. Thanks for sharing.

Like I said to Poalo, I will ay it here. For me, this is not a landscape. It is a person shot. And the people here are wondrfully placed in this amazing place. Not only that, the light sky really highlites them well. I like this shot a lot. Would love to see it bigger though. Anyway, dry now. But will be back.
