Photographer’s Note

Exactly what the title says: Just colours.
Now I have been kindly informed that TMC 09 refers to the Trinamul Congress, a local political party that is challenging the ruling left wing coalition for power in West Bengal state.
Seen somewhere in southern Calcutta (Kolkata)

Hi Gertz,

Simpe and beutiful! The red-yellow sari makes a perfect contrast against this grey wall. Nicelly framed and composed, with good light and sharpness.

Well, not just any colours but also quite good colours, whatever they are called; yellow-green or green-yellow plus a very fine reddish hue. A good observation and a very appropriate TE contribution!

Hi Gert, So typical for India - all parts of the clothing pass so well. Nice photo.

I knew one man from Kolkatta, many years ago, and now in Venice I met another one - Trekker Arnab. And isn't it strange - they also met somewhen! The world is small.

wonderful colours, I would say :) Interesting observation and very good capture. These clothes - colours - even against such a BG, look cheerful.
Maybe I should start looking for colorus in Moscow? :)
There is only one single colour here today: rain!

Hello Gert, this one immediately caught my eye because of it's uncluttered simplicity & vibrant colour. Well seen & realised, although you did not know at the time you took this shot what the writing on the wall meant I think it is an excellent inclusion, not detracting from the clothes on the line but the opposite & complimenting them. Well done.
