That shadowy face on the left anchor this memorable shot, Animesh, et off aainst that "quadrillage" of the iron bars and allowing us to see through to the waiting people on the platform. One of the best train pictures around...

So much going for this shot, Animesh. The composition with the bar on the left, the marvellous tones, the wonderful image quality; and yet, even these things cannot tower above that glance of the little girl staring at you. The beautiful Indian eyes on fire... wonderful focal point, and the title is well chosen.
A gorgeous bw film work again...

Even though they're just a few pixels, those eyes really stand out! The whole train-station atmosphere is really strong here--the unattractive but functional concrete benches and metal posts, the people just waiting and talking. The post is nicely placed in the frame to help the composition. It's all a vivid story of everyday life, just what TE is all about! Regards, Ken.

I really like the sense of movement here but it's a mystery because the image should be of blur outside - of course it's DOF but it throws up a little visual mystery for me for a moment - I like the view - that vision through those bars evokes so many memories and sensations.....Indian trains are very memorable.
best wishes Kev

overexposed bg bothers me a bit, and yet such a lovely image..full of layers as it's noticed..
