~ Monochrome Magic | Royal Atmosphere ~
Captured it in the palace of Cossimbazar Rajas...
It was one of those special moments from royal festivals while royal persons are being involved in it.
Here you can see the king and his son, watching the puja, while the queen is busy in worshiping the Goddess Maa Durga...
Processed in monochrome because it suits the atmosphere better, I think so...
Here is it.
~ Enjoy It ~

A cracking shot in mono with the figures instantly providing a focal point in a very well constructed image, the depth, immaculate detail and space feel with the focal length combined with slow shutter speed works very well here. A very well observed and exposed low light with a wonderful serene feel to it as the scene oozes atmosphere! I have one sincere crit; perhaps you check the white balance again as it appears a bit 'cold' and lack of warmness with blueish tinge. Hopefully is acceptable to you my friend.

What a fantastic shot in B&W. Love the royal ambience created by the old grand house with all these chandeliers and ornate lights. It seems I am watching a old B&W Bengali movie starring yesteryear famous actors. Excellent frame captured, like it a lot. Great work, thanks for sharing.

I think that these picture in colour also would are very nice.
But your monochome image is absolutely not bad.
We see clear the people pray as real believers.
Excellent composition, nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

il viraggio monocromatico in tinta è veramente geniale.
Hai trasformato in una foto magica quello che già era uno scatto suggestivo.
Ciao e buona domenica

Good Morning Subhendu,
There is a calm stillness, of deep contemplation, in a setting that it certainly beautiful, with clean sculptures and fine decoration
I really like the triangle that is created via the three figures, related by the pattern.
A well conceived composition with sharply exposed details.
Have a good day,

J'aime bien l'utilisation du noir et blanc pour cette composition.J'aime aussi le petit côté bleuté de l'ensemble. La prière est très bien mise en scène dans un décor spectaculaire.

Monochrome captures the mood of this beautiful scene much more than color could. Excellent blue toning, superb light and contrast. You have created a really strong composition with great light, excellently framed in landscape format.
Very well done
Wish you a very nice Sunday.

the setting is very interesting and elegant, the people add vividness, reference and mystery. You have made the most of your point of view offering us a decisive perspective and a balanced composition. The interaction between the people and the altar of the goddess is great, what we're looking at makes sense, is rich in details and has great cultural interest. The monochrome tone you chose for this scene enhances its suggestion and allure. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely week,

My, the color conversion definitely gives this imagery a completely different look and feel than what we're accustomed to seeing. A very surreal type of result brought about by the blueish tint in a scene such as this, I really like that it's made me stop and take a longer look to absorb the mood.
Intriguing in its own right, the subjects and material are compelling, and your composition to include the person along the right side of the frame makes me feel as if I'm standing just behind to witness this moment. Impressive capture, not disturbing the scene while still being able to collect the visual. Have a great week ahead. All the best.

Hello Subhendu - An intimate moment beautifully photographed. I like the monochrome conversion but I am not 100% sold on the tint, imo, it is a little bit strong but that is an entirely subjective comment. A fine DL shot. Warm regards Rosemary
