Bonjour, cher Subhendu,
Ce visage ressort à merveille. Ses yeux brillants, son regard nous transperce presque l'âme.
Une belle réussite en noir et blanc.

A fine capture of this elderly gentleman who having completed his devotions wears a beatific expression. Good control over depth of field to lift him from the rather busy background. Excellent choice of black and white as the medium.

like this! A fascinating study made all the more so by using B&W. The detailing and character in this man's expression and face are so compelling and in keeping with your commentary. Stimulating imagery!
Enjoy a good week ahead - B.

Excellent portrait of this very old gentleman. You have captured the details of his face so well. He has given a very intriguing expression which is difficult to interpret. Thanks for sharing a good one.

Very smart environmental portrait. I'm very glad that you managed to throw the other participants out of focus, so we must concentrate on the main subject; maybe they could be even further defocussed with advantage, if your aperture will go any wider.

Encore une fois, j'apprécie le choix de la profondeur de champs dans cette composition. Il y a quelque chose dans le regard du vieil homme qui est très attachant.

A fascinating study of the elderly man with a curious expression. Wonderful timing and what a perfect focus! The blurred busy figures around show the atmosphere nicely. A very thoughtful conversion to BW so that the viewer's attention is not distracted by the colorful new towel (gamchha).

the gentleman clearly feels relieved and content that he performed his duty to his ancestors successfully and it's nice and generous that he's sharing this moment with you. I like his position in the frame, the human presence and movement around him. The monochrome was an effective choice as it has rendered all the power and intrigue of his direct gaze without any distractions. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Bon portrait en noir et blanc de cet homme au visage marqué par les ans mais qui a gardé ses yeux pétillants.
