A Portrait Of Goddess Durga...
(meaning of it is- "the inaccessible" or "the invincible"; durga) is the most popular incarnation of Devi and one of the main forms of the Goddess Shakti in the Hindu pantheon.
Photo captured in our local puja pandal (temporarily made worship place) at Nabarup Sangha.

A strikingly colourful shot here Subhendu with pin-sharp decorative detail. The goddesses eyes are wonderfully exaggerated, almost cartoon-like and I find the third eye fascinating. Does it equate to her being 'all-seeing' in a spiritual sense? Have a lovely weekend and TFS. Rosemary

I like very much the way you composed and cropped this photo, making the portrayal of the goddess more fascinating and dramatic and filling the frame with those fabulous patterns and colours. A picture of superb sharpness and effective depth, the face and the hair stand out from the backdrop in a very intriguing way. Light and colour management are exquisite. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

Ah ... this is "Shaktirupena sangsthita" - the power, the shakti.
Exquisite colors and sharpness.
A very thoughtful crop, leaving no extra space other than the colours contrasting the colour of the face. As an effect, the face seems to jump out of the frame.
Excellent use of the lights.

Great attractive colours ! The close framing is a good idea since it permits to observe muche details of the statue.
