the scene has something unique, something magical in itself. Many different feelings like serenity and pensiveness are well transmitted in your shot. And choice of B&W seems to be the best option to achieve so magnificent end result.
Have a nice day

Le moment est privilégie et très bien cadré. On préserve l'intimité de l'homme tout en observant très bien son geste. Le noir et blanc est bien choisi.

The game of light and shade in the water in different shades of gray, is fantastic. Great timing and placement of the person in the frame is superb.
Perfect shot of the action of the auspicious day.

Well, you have focused the shot accurately.......this is what I really enjoy.
Tight cropping with only his chest and the arm band.........Impressive. I believe that of all the shots of the Pitri paksha uploaded in these few days, this is the best......crystal clear and meaningful.
Well Done S,

nice the view of the snapshot with the pilgrim to offer water to the Departed soul.Excellent presentation of the scene that is so unknown for us who live in the West.

the scene is depicted in a discreet, suggestive and artistic way. I like very much the monochrome conversion that makes us rely on the details and textures to understand the ritual. In my opinion, it was a good decision to fill the rest of the frame with the water and its motion, there's great harmony in the frame. It's intriguing to know that this artistic picture shows us someone's daily life reality and implies his feelings. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Considering your note and the meaning there in, this is a terrific representation! I think it was a wise idea to include so much of the water in the framing to accentuate that fact. The flow of water from this persons hands emphasizes the concept to an even higher degree, and the black & white treatment really gives this an artistic interpretation. Very well done, smart idea to concentrate on the water and still add the human element into the scene. Have a great day ahead.
