With a hope...
In front of the home of Lord Shiva...
In the edge of her life, for something good...
Though she is being deprived in her entire life, she keep faith to her lord, i.e, Lord Shiva...
WHAT A HUMOUR !!!
(Captured it at Byaspur Shiva Temple in a Shravana Monday morning, which is the birthday of Lord Shiva according to Hindu mythology).
May be a wrong post for the auspicious day of Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna... But I am posting it with a HOPE that you'll like it.

Wonderful theme & composition. More so for persons who understand the significance of the objects in the photograph. The Temple is sharp, clear and bright. So is the small container tied with strings. There is sunlight on the forehead of the old lady. The sense of waiting with hope is apparent in the photograph. The framing is good.

An evocative and thought provoking composition. Framed juts right, making this apt juxtaposition between the lady and the temple. Excellent colours and sharpness.

Great Angle to take the shot .. The interface of the widow in whites in contrast to the red colored temple adds great meaning to the shot and in ways explains the Indian Culture in a simple way .. Keep shooting such beauties.

A fine composition from a well chosen low POV. It's not just the position of the woman and the temple that makes this such a fine picture but also the very tight cropping that has put the woman so close to us. The colours are very well saturated and attractive.
