I snap this photo in Natun Gram at Murshidabad District. Actually I want to show the morning picture of a Village in India. Hope all will like it. Murshidabad district (Bengali: মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলা) is a district of West Bengal in eastern India. Situated on the left bank of the river Ganges, the district is very fertile. Covering an area of 5,341 km² (2,062 sq mi) and having a population 5.863m (according to 2001 census) it is a densely populated district. The Baharampur town is the headquarters of the district.
The Murshidabad city, which lends its name to the district, was the seat of power of the Nawabs of Bangla. All of Bengal was once governed from this town. Few years after Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula lost to the British at the Battle of Plassey, the capital of Bengal was moved to the newly founded city of Calcutta.
It borders West Bengal's Malda district to the north, Birbhum to the west, Bardhaman to the south-west and Nadia district due south. The international border with Bangladesh's Rajshahi division is on the east. Murshidabad District

This is a great shot - I was in India 6 months ago wish I could have spent more time in some of the more remote areas like these. You have captured their daily life so perfectly.
Thank you for sharing.

This is a lovely daily life scene, and there are lots of details to enjoy. I like the orange color of the road, and the woman in red who is cleaning up. The man in the foreground on his bicycle is also great. There is a lot to learn from this one, simple scene.

Sve najbolje, Paja.
A good time recording and display a street with people and old houses.
Life is tough, India is a big country. The crisis in the world.
Good work, beautiful photos, memories remain to this moment.
All the best, Paja.

You are using the good advantage of living in Murshidabad. Nice representation of the daily life of the village. I am also in one of the villages in Murshidabad these days. But your Notun Gram Village seems a bit advanced and modern than mine. Good to see.

very interesting and so exotic for us Europeans street scene. I really appreciate it.
The street is so full of life, you caught it very well. Colors and the atmosphere is also so different from what I am used to.
Pity that the sky isn't blue.
Very good work, TFS

I like the great clarity and the atmosphere here. The road gives a good perspective and depth and the colours are intense and yet delicate. Despite the village here looks quite poor there is a serene and quiet atmosphere. I like the sight of the people in the street which look more relaxed than in the big Indian cities.
A very good work.

Yes Nilotpal, this is the real Indian villagelife, like the 100.000s of others all over India,80 % of the Indians.

it is indeed a nice shot. A tranquil panorama of daily life of a village. Light / colours are superb. Great in photographic quality, I think, you could avoid some part of the topmost dull and smoky sky. I tried a workshop on it just cropping some part from top. Hope you doo't mind and like it. Anyway it is one of your best shots I must say. Tfs.

Very nice daily life in this village.
Interesting warm colours
ikeharel (62111) 2012-05-30 8:38
A strong impression made this village scene, Nilotpal, as there are people going about their daily burdens, and the place has no paved road, looks as hard-working class living there.
Yet, the people in picture gave a vivid and vibrant ambiance.
