It's being 62 years our motherland was broken unscientifically into two parts by some power hungry politicians. We, the common people of Bengal never wanted this. Though we speak same, eat same, wear same, probably the thoughts are also same unfortunately we are the inhabitants of two different countries.
This is the river Ichhamati flows between two countries. But this is not just a river for us this is the barbed wire over our heart. WE ARE BANGALI.

Wonderful landscape. Looking gorgeous in grey-scale. Beautifully framed the image, the shining clouds add nice effect as well. Enriched by nice little note :) Good job.

good for the composition you got it right over the bend of the Ichhamati.
wondering how it would have looked in full colors.
greetings from a post-Bora Trieste.

another great shot, Satyaki, and also thanks for the note. I like a lot how you have composed the photo, the boat and cloud placed on the ends of a diagonal work well to emphasise the vast expanse of the river. excellent B&W conversion, it certainly adds drama to the scene.

Again, splendid use of greyscale!
For one, the asymmetric framing is very appropriate, while the note is nice!
